FIRST ALL ASIA TITLE
Jomthong the winner
Boxing and Muaythai star Jomthong Chuwatana will fight for the first
WBC All Asia title at the Kunming Stadium in China on November 24.
Jomthong holds both the WBC Oriental Pacific Boxing Title and the WBC
Muay Thai World Title and fight the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental
Champion Rangel Suko (Philippines) for the All Asia Super Featherweight
Championship with the winner getting fast tracked into the WBC world
rankings.
While Jomthong has shown exceptional class in Muay Thai combat being
able to excel in eight weapons ring sport while carrying a knockout
punch.
Jomthong will be fighting on the same card as the first Chinese national boxer to ever contest a WBC world title.
Xiong Zhao Zhong, the boxing hero from China's Yunnan province, will
fight against Mexican Javier Martinez for the Straw Weight World title.
The event will be televised across China.
And if Jomthong becomes the All Asia champion, as expected, he'll be
viewed in China as one of the new shinning stars of boxing. A perception
that's likely to resonate around the world.
