AOB/APB/WSB Coaches Instructors Workshop gets practical
This Saturday 19 January, the AOB/APB/WSB Coaches Instructors Workshop was not only dedicated to an in-depth induction to AIBA Pro Boxing (APB), but also to an exciting practical session.
Instructors Rob McCracken and Thomas Coulter started

Practical session
the morning session by reviewing the APB coaches' manual. This led to a very active discussion between the instructors and the participants on the meaning of coaching in pro boxing and APB in particular. The conversation moved towards the definition of APB boxers, and ended on the main differences between AIBA Open Boxing (AOB) and APB.
In the afternoon, all participants joined a gym and were then divided into groups of 8/9 people. They were asked to prepare a full training program according to a given subject such as strength, speed, flexibility, etc. This was done in a very good and friendly atmosphere. Coaches from different cultures and of various languages worked together in perfect harmony.
