Andrew, your fans would like to know if you have had any idols or people who have inspired you throughout of your life?
In terms athletes, I have always admired the staying power of the Welsh football player Ryan Giggs. My inspiration in boxing is a great fighter called Felix Tito Trinidad, however the greatest boxer of all time will always remain the incomparable Mohammed Ali. He was such a great entertainer.
Do you have a role Model??
I would say that is my brother Lee.
There is an interesting question from our followers related to your brother actually. Who would win if you did a catch weight fight with him?
It's hard to say. I guess it depends, if the weight was closer to my weight I would win, but if it was closer to his he would.
Do you do any specific training to get such fast reflexes?
Not really, when I get in the ring I don't think about what I'm doing: it all comes naturally.
Do you have a favourite corner of the ring? Are you a red or blue man?
When I was younger I used to prefer blue, but now I don't think about it.
And who was your most challenging opponent to date?
Vasyl Lomachenko is obviously the best, but my Team mate Luke Campbell (Olympic Gold, London 2012), is the most awkward to fight.
Have you had any fights that have upset you?
Yes, it was during the Olympic qualifications when I had to fight my friend and team mate Khalid Yafai to win my place. I didn't like having to do that.
Would you consider moving up a weight class being ranked #1 at Flyweight and if so, would you consider competing at the Olympic Games at that weight?
No I think I'm too small for that.
Do you have any interest in other combat sports? If so which ones and would you ever compete in them?
I like watching all combat sports, but I'm not really interested in competing in anything else.
Your fans would love to find out more about Andrew Selby outside the ring. Do you have any hobbies, or interests outside of boxing?
When I am not boxing, and this is not that often, I love going either fishing or playing snooker. My dad loves snooker so I've always played that. Occasionally I play poker with my friends too. But when I get some free time, I prefer to dedicate it to my family.
Finally Andrew, tell us what made you to put pen on paper with AIBA Pro Boxing? What do you see as a goal in this competition?
My goal is to be APB World Champion. APB gives me the chance to box professionally, whilst remaining on the GB Team and hopefully represent Britain in the next Olympic Games.
We thank our followers once again for their questions and it is with a great pleasure that we would like to announce that one of the questioners will be awarded with a T-shirt, courtesy of World Series Boxing (WSB).
